Darwin Neile Tapley, 82, of Vincennes, passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at his residence.
He was born March 15, 1936 in Vincennes to Floyd Francis and Edith Ellen (Hanson) Tapley.
Darwin retired as a welder repairman at Ford Motor Company and belonged to the Moose and Eagles. In his younger days, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and motorcycles.
Surviving are his children, Pamela and Butch Hundley of Rotonda West, FL, Dana Sue and Rich Siar of Valparaiso, and Scott and Jorie Tapley of Wheatfield, IN; his brothers and sisters, Richard Allen Tapley, Ruth Rosalee Martindale, and Michael Tapley; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and his long-time companion, Doris Stanley of Robinson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Fern Tapley; a son, Neile Eugene Tapley; brothers, Leroy, Gary, and Floyd Jr. Tapley; and a sister, Shirley Ann Garbey.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from Noon until the service. Online condolences may be made at www.goodwinfamilyfh.com
