Patricia “Patty” A. Ellerman, 86, of Vincennes, passed away on March 16, 2018, at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Patty worked most of her life, beginning at the Kum Back Inn as a waitress. Later she worked at the Brown Shoe Factory, Hills Dept. Store, Mills Pharmacy, Pyle’s Sewing Center, Center Hardware, the Executive Inn, in the accounting dept. at Hamilton Glass, and retired as the manager at H & R Block. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church.
Born April 3, 1932, in Vincennes, she was the daughter of Virgil and Dorothy (Mitchell) Southerland. Her parents; her husband, Otto Earl Ellerman; and her sister, Norma Jane Bloebaum, preceded her.
Surviving are her sons, Tim Ellerman and his wife, Janet, of Vincennes, Lawrence Ellerman and his wife, Wendy, of Kingman, AZ, and Gary Ellerman and his wife, Cynthia, of Lawrenceville, IL; 7 grandchildren; and 10 great – grandchildren.
Private family services will be conducted. Goodwin Funeral Home assisted with the services.
