Washington Firefighters responded to 401 East Main where an apartment was on fire at 2:10-pm.  Washington Fire Chief Dave Rhoads says the fire was put out quick and there were no injuries.

Rhoads says the fire was ruled accidental caused by an unknown heat source.  There was minor damage to the front of the building owned by Mark Hoevel. The occupant of Apartment 1 was Alex Butler.  Firemen were on scene for less than an hour.
