Three workers were injured when a truss fell at a construction site in Shoals.
Martin County Chief Deputy Josh Greene says that at about 9:50 Monday morning emergency crews were called to Bailey Brothers Used Cars in Shoals. A work crew was working on the rebuilding of the business owners’ building following a fire last year.
Greene says for an unknown reason, a truss fell and three workers were on it. One of the men was flown from the scene; another was transported to Daviess County and flown out. The third went to a hospital by private vehicle.
The injured men’s names were not released.
