Daviess County Sheriff Jerry Harbstreit is asking you to join him in the fight against crime.
He says joining the non-profit Indiana Sheriff’s Association offers an opportunity to lend support for crime prevention and awareness. The association also is a way for you to promote public safety and provide more and improved training for Sheriff’s and the Summer Youth Leadership Camps and college scholarships for teens interested in law enforcement careers.
Daviess County residents should be receiving applications to join the Association in their mailbox soon. Many people and businesses have already joined. If you don’t get an application in the mail, they are available at the Sheriff’s office or the Indiana Sheriff Association website at www.indianasheriffs.org.
