Through the Garden Gate is Saturday at East Side Park

It’s that time to take a walk Through the Garden Gate.

The annual event from the Washington Arts and Flowers Garden Club is Saturday.  Event organizers say it’s a great way to get into springtime frame of mind.  Jan Shuler Hicks says there’ll be all kinds of vendors catering the interest of gardening and the arts.

Admission to Saturday’s 4th annual Through the Garden Gate is free at the Community Building at East Side Park in Washington.  Proceeds however from items sold, and auctioned and raffled off do go to the club.  The local flower and arts enthusiasts are responsible for much of the beauty you see around Washington and they spearhead the Team Up to Clean Up campaign every year.

Again Through the Garden Gate starts at 9 Saturday morning at the community building at East Side Park.
