State Rep. Shane M. Lindauer has filed paperwork to seek re-election to House District 63 in the Indiana House of Representatives. In November, Lindauer was elected in a caucus to complete the remainder of Mike Braun’s term and was sworn into office in December. He currently serves on three committees: Roads and Transportation, Government Reduction, and Natural Resources. District 63 includes portions of Davies, Dubois, Martin, and Pike counties.

“It has been an honor and privilege to serve the people of District 63 in the Indiana General Assembly this past session. In the months ahead, I look forward to speaking and meeting with people to ascertain how to best serve our area. My goal is to be a conservative voice, while focusing on issues that really matter to residents of District 63.”

Lindauer graduated from Indiana State University with a degree in Industrial Technology Supervision and later from Logan College of Chiropractic with a degree in Health and Human Sciences as well as a Doctorate of Chiropractic. Lindauer was a member of both the Indiana and Missouri Army National Guard. He has experience in small business, both in chiropractic private practice as well as his current position as part owner of a small family business in Jasper. In 2010, Lindauer was elected to the Dubois County Council serving District 2 for a four-year term. He has also held adjunct faculty teaching positions for Oakland City University Bedford and at Ivy Tech in Evansville.

Lindauer and his wife Stacy live in Jasper with their two boys. When not spending time with his family, he loves being outdoors hiking, biking, or camping. He is a member of Redemption Christian Church where he enjoys volunteering for various activities.
