In an effort to acquire more space to store equipment, the Odon Town Council plans to make an offer on the former Napa Auto parts store building.  That according to a story in this week’s Odon Journal.  Located on Spring Street in Odon the building is across the street from the town hall and the Odon Town garage and is currently owned by the Odon First Christian Church.  Councilman Chuck Krieg says the property was listed at $59,000 but was recently reduced to $49,900.  Town officials said additional space is needed to store equipments used by the water and wastewater departments.  Krieg and council member Vernon Graber voted to initiate the appraisal process required before a municipality can purchase real estate.
