-A homeowner in Posey County exercised his right to protect himself Tuesday night. The man heard two burglars break into his home. He said one of them had a gun. He then grabbed his own gun and fired at them, hitting one of the burglars sending him to the hospital. Police say the other culprit ran off. They also say that the break in was not a random act, adding that the two men who broke in and the homeowner may know each other. An investigation is ongoing.
