Daily Arrest and Accident Reports

-19-year-old Cloe Hopkins of Loogootee was arrested by Washington City Officers yesterday for Possession of Marijuana, Resisting Law Enforcement and Battery on Law Enforcement.  No bond was set.

-19-year-old David Redmond of Washington was arrested o a warrant for petition to Revoke a Suspended Sentence.  Bond was set at $100,000.

-An arrest warrant was served on 31-year-old Timothy Bush of Owensville, Indiana.  It was for Invasion of Privacy, Failure to Appear and a Petition to Revoke a Suspended Sentence. Bond was set at $2900.

-21-year-old Cory Miller was arrested on a Failure to Return to Lawful Detention Warrant.  Bond was set at $25,000.

-Washington Police arrested a Greene County resident for Operating While Never Receiving a License.  26-year-old Cesar-Jarquin-Mendoza was jailed on a $2000 bond.  He had been stopped for speeding at Longfellow Drive and Northwest 11th at 4:23-pm and the officer discovered he did not have a license.

-There was a minor accident involving and SUV and a postal vehicle at 10-am yesterday near Mason’s Root Beer Stand in Washington.

-A hit and run accident was investigated yesterday about 1:45-pm.  A woman said she’d turned a corner at East National Highway and Southeast 3rd when another vehicle hit hers and then left the scene. There were no injuries.  A description of the other vehicle was obtained. The other driver was not located.

-In Odon yesterday morning, a resident reported a semi stuck in a ditch in front of their home on 1000-North.    That was reported at 7:45-am.  The semi was reported out of the ditch about 90 minutes later.  Police reports say a citation was issued for a load violation.
