Gary Daniel ‘Danny’ Brock, Sr., 64, of Plainville, Indiana, passed away surrounded by his loved ones, on Monday, January 22, 2018 at Evansville, Indiana. He was born on April 8, 1953 in Linton, Indiana to John Sherman Brock, Sr. and his wife, Alene (Butler) Brock.
Danny was a member of Pleasant Hill Community Church. He was a driver for the Amish and previously worked at Haskins Litter Mill and the Odon Sawmill.
Survivors include: two daughters, Kathryn Hope (Eric) Staley of Indianapolis and Chrystal (Mike) Sprang of Jackson, MI; two sons, Gary Daniel Brock, Jr. and Joseph Brock, both of Peru, IN; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three brothers, Larry Brock and John Sherman (Joy) Brock, Jr., both of Odon and Alvin Eugene (Kathy) Brock of Tacoma, WA and sister, Darlene Kay Sneed of Odon.
Danny was preceded in death by: his parents; one brother, Joseph Brock and one sister, Shirley Brock.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM on Friday, January 26, 2018 at the Simon J Graber Complex in Odon. Danny will be laid to rest in the Second Mt. Olive Cemetery in Odon.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, January 25 and from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 10:00 AM on Friday at the Simon J. Graber Complex.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasant Hill Community Church. Envelopes will be available.
