Mary Ruth Walker, 60, of Loogootee, passed away at 4:30 a.m. Friday, January 19, 2018 at her home.
She was born March 25, 1957 in Jasper, Indiana to the late George K. and Marie M. (Arvin) Walker.
Mary was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church and previously employed at Aristo Kraft for 25 years. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, George W. (Linda) Walker, Joseph A. Walker and Michael J. Walker; brother-in-law, Larry G. Bair.
Mary is survived by her siblings, John L. Walker of Loogootee, Rebecca L. Bair of Dubois, Carl R. Walker, Cindy (Jay) Smith, Peggy L. Walker and Polly A. Walker, all of Loogootee; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and one great-great nephew; sister-in-law, Ilene Walker.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Very Rev. J. Kenneth Walker at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at St. Martin Catholic Church in Whitfield. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held Monday January 22, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Riley Children’s Hospital.
