One man has been arrested and another is being sought in connection with a January 3rd assault and robbery investigation in Washington. It happened near Griffith Elementary School when two people reported being assaulted and robbed of a cell phone and $250.
Thursday 19-year-old David Redmond was jailed in Washington on a warrants for Armed Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery Resulted in Bodily Injury.
Now city police report they are looking for a 2nd man who is wanted in the same case. 19-year-old Laking Clay is wanted for Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery Resulting in Bodily Injury. Police ask that if anyone has information on the whereabouts of Clay to contact local law enforcement of Washington Police at 812-254-4410.
