Miriam Ann Kohorst, 91, of Vincennes, passed away at 3:15 pm Wednesday January 17, 2018 at her residence.
She was born July 27, 1926 in Vincennes, to Anton and Clara (Wessel) Bosecker.
Miriam was a homemaker and was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aide at the church. She enjoyed cooking and was a 1944 graduate of Lincoln High School.
Surviving are her husband, Gerald Kohorst of 71 ½ years, whom she married on August 18, 1946; two daughter, Dotty Mengedoht of Vincennes, and Julie (John) Wise of Vincennes; a brother, Richard Bosecker of Vincennes; her grandchildren, Shane (Heather) Cooper, Alicia (Michael) Caswell, and Abby Mengedoht; and her great grandchildren, Laney, Taylor, and Ava Cooper, and Cooper Caswell.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am Saturday at Goodwin Funeral Home. Friends may visit with the family from 9:30 am until the service. Burial will be held later.
