HCI Project to be Chosen this Month

It was last spring when the city of Washington was selected as a Generation 5 Community for the Hometown Collaboration Initiative,  or HCI.  .The Generation 5 designation came as the result of pursuing and obtaining grant funding to help pay for the program’s success.

The program is a partnership with Ball State and Purdue where a team looks and works to make their city a better place to live, work and play.           Washington is in the process of choosing one of three areas to work on.  The public’s input was sought through a survey to determine which way to go…at the end of the month there’ll be a public forum to present the information gathered from the surveys. Angie Mann has been with the project from the beginning…

That meeting on the 30th will be at the Harvest Community Fellowship Church.
