HCI Project to be Chosen this Month

It was last spring when the city of Washington was selected as a Generation 5 Community for the Hometown Collaboration Initiative,  or HCI.  .The Generation 5 designation came as the result of pursuing and obtaining grant funding to help pay for the program’s success.

          The program is a partnership with Ball State and Purdue where a team looks and works to make their city a better place to live, work and play.           Washington is in the process of choosing one of three areas to work on.  The public’s input was sought through a survey to determine which way to go…at the end of the month there’ll be a public forum to present the information gathered from the surveys.           That meeting on the 30th will be at the Harvest Community Fellowship Church.
