Weather and Roads Improving

For the first time in several days  there’s not a weather advisory or warning for the region.      The weather today will continue to be cold.  But we will see sunshine for the rest of the week as a warming trend starts tomorrow as warm up to the 30’s for Thursday and Friday and 40’s and 50’s for the weekend.  There’s an increasing chance for rain throughout the weekend with rain mostly likely on Sunday night.

Checking travel conditions, the Indiana Department of Homeland Security has all counties in the listening area under Travel Advisories which is the lowest level of advisory from the IDHS.  Motorists should use caution and use extra time on roads that remain snow and ice covered.  Main roads in the area are clear for the most part with scattered slick spots.  Side streets and back roads are slowing improving.
