Washington Police Dispatchers tell WAMW no other information was available this morning concerning a person with a gun on the Griffith Elementary School grounds last night.
Reports are that at 8:30-pm a caller told the police department someone with a gun was in the playground.
The Washington Times Herald says police and K9 units were looking near the school for a male who was armed.
Again, the police department early this morning said they had no other information yet, but a statement on the incident was expected later today.
