Felba “Sue” Byrd-Phillips, 78, of Jasper, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2017.
She was born in Washington on January 12, 1939 to Harold L. and Augusta (Hinkle) Petty.
She graduated from Epson High School in 1957 and retired as a Unit Clerk Nurse in Kansas City, Kansas. She was a member of the Grace and Truth Baptist Church in Ireland, the Washington Women of the Moose and the Washington American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Phillips, whom she married, August 16, 2013; two sons, Joe (Tina) Byrd, Jr. of Huntingburg and Dan (Cindy) Byrd of Kiowa, Colorado; one daughter, Vickie (Donald) Mull of Surprise, Arizona; stepson, David Grubb of Jasper; six grandchildren, Jed Byrd, Valere Byrd, Cody (Janelle) Byrd, Brittany (Jace) Houchin, Angela Midon and Jeffery (Melissa) Mull; eight great-grandchildren, Jordan Mull, Aiden Mull, Nolan Byrd, Landon Byrd, Reid Houchin, Kale Houchin, Kendra Byrd and Lilyana Byrd; step grandchildren, Toby (Andria) Phillips and Lora (Marty) Phillippe; step great-grandchildren, Mac and Mattie Phillips, Holden, Koen and Everlee Phillippe
