The Daviess County Democratic Party will hold its regular monthly meeting Monday, Dec. 11, at 6 p.m. at the Eagles Club in Washington. Democrat County Chairman Ron Critchlow calls it an important meeting as party members will discuss next Wednesday’s caucus to name a replacement for long-time City Councilman Joe Fleck. Fleck resigned last month after moving out of the district he served in for over 20 years. Precinct Committeemen from Precincts 10 and 11 will name the new Councilman. Only those two committeemen will be able to vote on the replacement.
