Yellow Pillars at the Park Damaged by Vehicle: Battery Arrest Warrant Served

-Washington Police report a hit and run incident at East Side Park last night.  A vehicle hit the yellow barricades at the bottom of the hill at the park and left the scene.  That occurred about 9:33-pm. The vehicle drove through the main entrance at a rate of speed knocking down the yellow safety pillars.  The car continued out of the park.  The driver may have been a woman.

-Police investigated a call at 9:25-pm about a woman walking up to the Plainville Food Mart and then walking back and was chased by a vehicle occupied by a male who had a “Jason” mask on.  The vehicle was red, the occupant was a man was described as 5’8 to 5”10 with dirty blonde hair.  No injuries were reported.

-Police investigated a domestic incident in which a man was reportedly hit with a car. He was taken to DCH and later released.  That happened on Greenwood Street about 10-am yesterday.  The investigation lasted through the noon hour and the husband and wife separated.

-Officers investigated a reported fraud at a local bank yesterday afternoon involving the cashing of checks.

 -The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department served an arrest warrant for Domestic Battery and Neglect of a Dependent on Tuesday.  25-year-old Dylan VanHay was booked into the security center and bond was posted.

 -Kevin Ogle, 27, was jailed in Knox County at 5:36 yesterday afternoon for Leaving the Scene of an accident involving alcohol which resulted in injury.

-Vincennes Police charged an Edwardsport woman with a Misdemeanor count of Inhaling Toxic Vapors.  29-year-old Amanda Byrer was picked up at 10:45-am Tuesday after an investigation into an alleged intoxicated person on North 6th..
