Cold Beer Sale Vote May Not Happen

(NETWORK IN)  Your lawmakers in the Capitol City will likely not consider the debate over cold beer sales this legislative session. Many are pushing for the approval of cold beer sales at grocery stores and gas stations. A study commission to review Indiana’s alcohol laws considered the issue at it’s latest meeting on Friday. The voted 8-to-7 to recommend it to the general assembly, but the problem is it need nine votes to be approved for consideration. The commission recommended the passage of a Sunday sales bill last month.
