Formal charges against 26-year-old Colby Blake of Cannelburg are forthcoming from the Daviess County Prosecutor’s Office. Blake has been preliminary charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated Causing Death and Reckless Driving. Blake, a volunteer firemen was responding to a drunk driving accident Friday night along Old 50 west of 800-East in Montgomery. State Police say he struck three vehicles total when arriving on the scene. 27-year-old Kendall Murphy had just exited one of those vehicles when he was run over by Blake’s truck. Murphy died at the scene. His funeral is tomorrow at 11 at the Simon J. Graber Complex.
