Accidental Shooting at ISU

A 28-year-old visitor to Indiana State University’s campus accidentally shot himself in the leg Sunday night in Terre Haute around 9:30 pm. He was found near Cromwell Hall. He told police he had a handgun in his pocket that discharged and struck him in the leg. No one else was injured in that shooting. That man was taken to Union Hospital and then later transferred to a hospital in Indianapolis. His injuries are not considered life-threatening, but he will require surgery.
