Minor Crash in Washington, Minor Fire in Loogootee….

-Authorities responded to a minor accident at 11:40-am yesterday west of the Perdue turnoff on West National Highway. A vehicle had slid off into a ditch. There were no injuries.

 –Authorities in Loogootee responded to an electrical fire yesterday at the CountryMark just East of town on Highway 50.  Reports say the fire began in the basement and smoke was seen coming out of the building.  Authorities were able to catch the fire before any major damage was done to the building.

 -A Washington man was arrested yesterday on a warrant for Attempted burglary, Theft, Attempted Theft and Unauthorized Control of a Motor Vehicle.  31-year-old Shane M. Fowler’s bond was set at $10,000

-A Vincennes woman aws picked up by Washington police on a Failure to Appear Warrant on Tuesday. Bond for 21-year-old Keirsten Arp was set at $2000.

-The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department charged 48-year-old Robert T. McCutcheon of Evansville with Battery and Disorderly Conduct.  He was booked into the Daviess County Security Center overnight without bond.

 -Vincennes Police arrested a man last night for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Public Intoxication.  27-year-old Jordan Chanley was booked into the Knox County Jail at 10:38pm on the charge.
