Weekend Police Blotter/Field fire near Elnora; ISP arrest locals for Neglect…

-Washington Police investigated a reported breaking and entering at just before 4 Sunday at a Northeast 9th Street residence.

-Vandalism was reported to a parked truck and a garage at a home on Troy Road. That was reported at 10:23 Sunday morning.

-There was a field fire reported near the public access site at Elnora at just before 3-pm Saturday.  Elnora, Plainville, Madison Fire Departments responded.  Logs state that the last Department left the scene about 4 hours later.

 -Indiana State Police arrested a local man and woman on a warrant for Neglect of a Dependent Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury.    36-year-old Justin Hughes and 33-year-old Christy Hughes of Washington was booked into the Security Center on the charge on Sunday and bond was posted.

-Two women were jailed following a 7:15pm traffic stop Saturday night at Front and Lincoln in Washington.  The driver, 31-year-old Nicole Dalton was charged with Possession of Paraphernalia and Driving While Suspended with a Prior.  A passenger, 35-year-old April Wright of Dugger was charged with Possession of Synthetic Cannabis.  Bond was set at $2000 each.

-Sunday, 40-year-old Tracy Webster of Washington was picked up on a Writ of Attachment. Bond was posted.

-A hit and run accident in Vincennes at 12:35-am Sunday resulted in the arrest of 41-year-old Robert E. Chanley Junior. The property damage accident happened at 520 South 7th.  Chanley-Junior is charged with Leaving the Scene of an Accident Operating While Intoxicated with a Controlled Substance.

-At 7:04 Saturday night, police arrested 45-year-old Robert Edward Sweeney of Vincennes.  Vincennes Police were assisted in the arrest at the George Rogers Clark Memorial by the US Park Service.  Sweeney was arrested for Public Intoxication and Public Nudity.
