If Carfest is not enough activity for you this weekend..there’s lots more..

In Pike County there are two big festivals.  Petersburg is celebrating their 200th year of becoming a city with their Buffalo Trace Festival.   Main Street has been totally shut down for the festival featuring free carnival rides, games and music.  Mayor RC KlIpsch welcomed the hundreds that attended opening ceremonies last night…

The schedule today at that celebration is a Pedal Tractor Pull at 9.  Music on stage at 10 with Tony Rothrock, Jerry Willis and Albert Swain. There’s a Miss Petersburg Pageant starting at 11 am.  Free Carnival Rides continue today and more live music tonight with Jason Sturgeon and Rodney Watts.

In Winslow there is the 12th annual Fall Festival with games, food and fun all day tomorrow starting at 8-am.

Down in Ferdinand the annual Ferdinand Folk Festival takes place. Nationally known Folk Music artists Joshua Davis and Justin Johnson are just part of the all weekend event.  For more information go to Ferdinandfolkfestival.com

In Princeton, the city is holding its annual Heritage Days Festival. There’s food, crafts, rides and live entertainment nightly tonight through Sunday.
