A 78 year old Washington man died in a vehicle vs. pedestrian accident early Sunday morning.
According to a Washington Police Department news release, Police were called to the scene on State Street where 78-year-old Joseph Yerkes was pronounced dead at the scene. As a result of an investigation, police found and arrested 29-year-old Ryan Wiscaver of Washington who was jailed on a charge of Leaving the Scene of a Fatality Accident.
