Eunice M. Tevebaugh, 94 years, passed away on September 9, 2017, at Gentle Care. She was born on Sept. 26, 1922, in El Campo, Texas. Her parents were Charles and Elsie (Foehner) Brownshadel. Her father raised cotton and the entire family worked in the fields.

She and her husband Charles met while he was serving in the Army in 1942. They married and moved to Knox County, Indiana in 1946. They had three children, Charles Edward, Donna Jean and Vickie Sue.

Eunice worked and enjoyed many years of being a florist for shops in Vincennes and Petersburg. Until her health failed she enjoyed working in her flower garden and being outdoors. One of her favorite past times was sitting in her backyard swing. She was a member of the Monroe City First Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Charles A. Tevebaugh on Dec. 26, 1988. Survivors are a sister, Newlean Kieselhorst of Indianapolis, IN. Children are Charles E. Tevebaugh and his wife, Ann, of Vincennes, IN, Donna Jean Proano and her husband Oswaldo of Indianapolis, IN and Vickie Sue Tevebaugh of Avon, IN. Grandchildren are Douglas Dreiman of San Antonio, Texas, Angela Byrd and her husband, Mitchell, of Monroe City, IN, Michele Clapp and her husband, Brian, of Granger, IN, Shane Sievers and his wife, Tracy, of Greencastle, IN, and Chad Tevebaugh of Vincennes, IN. Also five great-grandchildren, Sabrina Byrd, Lauren Clapp, Caroline Byrd, Landon Clapp and Jayme Dreiman.

Visitation will be from 10:00 – 12:00 on Tuesday, at Goodwin Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 12:00. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery near Monroe City, IN.
