-The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department received a report of a fight in progress at East and Race Streets at just before noon Sunday.  Police reports say around a half dozen people were involved but there were no weapons.  One person was taken to the hospital in Vincennes.

-Authorities responded to a two car accident at Highway 257 and 500 South at 9:2-pm Saturday night.  The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department, Southeast Fire Department and Southwest Medical were all called to the scene.  Emergency crews were there for about 40 minutes.

-At 11 on Saturday night, a caller at 100 North and 825 East reported a car in a ditch in front of their home. There were no injuries.

-About 1 :15 on Sunday morning, a caller to the Sheriff’s Department reported a pick up had hit a mailbox east of 1200-East and 150-North.  They said the truck ran into an embankment and two people had left the scene. 

-Amanda K. Aldrich, 28 of Washington was jailed on a $2500 bond on Saturday for Operating While Intoxicated/Refusal.

-52-year-old David J. Cornelius of Washington was arrested Saturday for Operating While Intoxicated with bond set at $2000.

-Sunday, Washington Police charged 23-year-old Jose Manuel Manjares with Public Intoxication and Resisting Law Enforcement.  No bon dwas set.

-45-eyar-old Francisco Pascual of Washington was charged with Operating While Intoxicated and Resisting Law Enforcement on Sunday.

-The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department arrested 61-year-old Jefferey K. Williams of Danville, Indiana for Public Intoxication on Sunday.  No bond was set.

-Sheriff’s Deputies charged 20-year-old James c. Honey of Worthington for Intimidation on Sunday.  No bond was set.

-Two people were jailed at 5:30pm Saturday for Domestic Battery.  38-year-old Melinda M. Roach, and 46-year-old Ronnie Ray Chambers were arrested at a New Albany Street home in Vincennes.

– A Washington man was jailed in Vincennes last night.  Vincennes Police say they picked up 36-year-old Derrick S. Arp on a warrant for a Parole Violation. Other charges listed on the arrest sheet are Possession of a Syringe, Possession of Synthetic Drug and Auto Theft. The arrest took place at just before 11 last night at 4th and Broadway.
