Ruth Lucille Lundy, 84 formerly of Washington but recently living in Vincennes went to her heavenly home on Friday, August 18, 2017. Ruth was born in Daviess County to the late Charles and Gertrude Watkins (Gasser) in May of 1933. Ruth married Robert Lundy September 4, 1971 and he preceded her in death August 4, 1996. Ruth was a member of First Christian Church and enjoyed being active in their choir. Ruth attended Washington schools and was also a member of the Eagles Auxiliary. Most important to Ruth was spending time with her grandchildren and spending time with her family. Survivors include two daughters, Cheryl King (Bob) and Linda Lindsey; two sons, David Fry (Kris) and Jefferey Fry (Michelle); one step-son, Gene Lundy (Linda); nine grandchildren;twenty-three great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; two brothers Donald and Steven Watkins. Ruth was also preceded by her step-father, Jack McCarthy; a son, Mark Fry; step-son, Jefferey Lundy; and a brother William Watkins. There will be a visitation on Tuesday August 22, 2017 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Gill Funeral Home 308 E. Walnut St. Washington, IN 47501.
