The Montgomery Turkey Trot festival is fast approaching. The dates for this year’s event will be Sept 7th thru the 10th.
Organizers this year would like to remind visitors that season passes are on sale now at area banks and local businesses in Montgomery. The price for this year’s season pass is $40 dollars if purchased in advance for all four days of the festival. Kids daily admission will now be $5 for children ages 3 to 11 but new this year, your admission will include a free carnival inside the park including all the rides.
Turkey Trot Chairman DeWayne Shake says this should be a way for families to bring their kids and allow them to ride the rides for a much smaller fee than year’s past…
This year entertainment on the big stage will feature Bluegrass from Jim and Lynna Woolsey on Thursday night, American Idol star Tristan McIntosh on Friday, and Saturday Country music veterans Sawyer Brown. Save the dates Sept 7-10th at the Montgomery Ruritan Park.
