Three injured in Monday’s crash on I69

accident-8

Yesterday’s accident on I69 injured three Indianapolis residents.

It happened at 7:37-am in the northbound lanes at the 76 mile marker.  38-year-old Phillip B. Fortee was driving a 2006 Dodge Avenger and for an unknown reason swerved left in the median, overcorrected and ran off the east side of the road.  The car flipped several times ejecting Fortee and then came to rest on it’s top.

Fortee suffered head and internal injuries.  33-year-old Damon Carson had incapacitating injuries and 33-year-old Antoine Crenshaw had upper arm and shoulder injuries. All three were transported by Southwest Medical and later transferred to Evansville hospitals.
