A pedestrian in Vincennes was injured in a hit and run accident and police are asking for the public’s help in finding the suspect vehicle and the driver.
Officers say it happened at 9:33 last night at Gregg Park when according to witnesses, an older model; approximately late 90’s green 2 door Jeep with stock equipment hit the pedestrian. Police say there were severe injuries in the incident. The Jeep was seen fleeing west on Niblack Boulevard after hitting a street sign at the entrance of the park.
The Jeep may have a damaged turn signal or fender reflector on the front. Anyone with information on the Jeep or it’s driver can call Vincennes Police at 812-882-1630 or 812-882-1631.
