Knife pulled on EMT’s during an ambulance ride…Plainville resident jailed on a DUI and…Vincennes Police called to the Vincennes Wal-Mart several times on several incidents…..

 

-Charges may be filed concerning an incident involving a mental health patient and EMS workers from Pike County.  The Washington Times Herald  Herald reports the ambulance crew was heading to DCH with the patient at 6:30 last night when the patient pulled a knife from a purse.  The crew was able to get the knife away.  They informed hospital ER personnel of the incident when they arrived and then the Washington PD was called.  There were no injuries and no other issues reported.

-The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department arrested 23-year-old Christopher Thompson of Plainville yesterday.  He’s charged with operating while intoxicated.  No bond was set. It’s believed the arrest was in connection with a call to authorities last night about a vehicle in a ditch on State Road 57 at 500-North.  Police reports say the driver was given an alcohol test and then arrested.

-At 15 past midnight, Vincennes Police were called to Wal Mart on a report of shoplifting.  46-year-old Misty Crosby was arrested and charged with theft and criminal trespassing.

-At 10:45 last night, there was another report of shoplifting at the Vincennes Wal Mart.  31-year-old Joshua Barmes was jailed for theft, possession of marijuana and possession of a schedule 3 controlled substance.

-The Vincennes Police Department arrested a man after investigating a report of a man looking in cars at the Vincennes Wal Mart.  31-year-old Ernest Sweet was located and taken to jail for public intoxication.  That happened at 11:30 yesterday morning.
