Joyce Cook, 81, of Vincennes, passed away July 3, 2017, at her home.
Joyce was a member of Franklin Heights Christian Church. She had been a volunteer at Good Samaritan Hospital, Helping His Hands, and Kids Hope. Joyce enjoyed reading.
Born March 8, 1936, in Las Animas, CO, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Opal (Hunt) Funk. Her parents; her husband, Herbert Tracy Cook, whom she married February 8, 1956; her brother, Robert Funk; and her grandson, Luke McCoy, preceded her.
Surviving are her children, Londa Theriac and her husband, Nick, of Vincennes, Traci Lynn McCoy of Jonesboro, GA, Wayne Cook of Tucson, AZ, and Steven Cook and his wife, Cindy, of Vincennes; her sisters, Ardith Forbes of CA, Hazel Miller of Las Animas, CO, Shirley Saloga of Garden City, KS, and Connie Herndon of TX; grandchildren, Jeremy Vories and his wife, Miriam, Jenny Rainer, Tyler Robinson, Zach Robinson, Adam McCoy and Andrew McCoy; and her great-grandchildren, Kylie and Emmy Rainer, Bella Robinson, Henderson and Benson Vories, and Madison, Liam, and Logan McCoy.
