Linda Gail Jones, 72, of 4627 N SR 67, Bruceville, passed away at 4:05 pm Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital.
She was born April 11, 1945 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Joseph and Violet M. (Murphy) Hyatt.
Linda owned and operated Jewels Flowers many years until her retirement and attended the Upper Indiana Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed quilting and loved being with her grandchildren and friends.
Surviving are her husband, John N. Jones, whom she married on February 12, 1977; her children, Lisa (Edward) Huddleston of Oaktown, John (Della) Ridge of Paxton, Mark (Penny) Jones of Bruceville, and Troy (Stacy) Jones of Vincennes; her grandchildren, Rudy (Kailey) Wernz, Cory Jones, Kirby Jones, Kayton Jones, Bryar Ridge, Paige Jones, Zach Jones, Josh Jones, Bracey Ridge, Kamryn Jones, Dirk (Heather) McGuyer, Logan McGuyer, Brayton Scott, and Brian Scott; her great grandchildren, Kazlyn Wernz, plus one more on the way; two brothers, Kent and Steve Cooke of Texas; and a sister, Millie Echols of Pennsylvania.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Nancy Kartes.
A Celebration of Linda’s Life will be 10:30 am Monday June 25, 2017 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Mike Chappell officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
