The joint Daviess/Martin County Relay for Life is this weekend.
It’s the inaugural joint event in the annual effort to raise money for the American Cancer Society.
Opening ceremonies are at 9:30-am at Eastside Park in Washington. The survivor lap is at 11:30-am. The luminaria ceremony will begin about 9:30 p.m. You can buy luminaries at the Relay Saturday. 17 teams and 140 people are participating in this year’s event.
