Memorial Day Weekend is traditionally the start of summer in American, here in Washington, the summer season begins with the Washington Catholic Summer Social. It’s this weekend.
Spokesperson Jessie Davis says the food, both homemade and from vendors is always a big draw.
There’s bingo Saturday night and Sunday along with inflatables and games for the kids. All activities are at the Washington Catholic School grounds. Returning this year is the Saturday night beer garden and that will be at the Jay Meyers Parking Lot located downtown.
All monies raised go to the Washington Catholic Community.
