Several jailed over the 3 day weekend


 

SATURDAY

-Washington Police arrested a man on weapons, resisting and other charges on Saturday around 9-am after a traffic stop.  24-year-old Guadalupe Fuentes III of Washington was driving south on Northwest 3rd without a seat belt when he was stopped by Washington officer Case Cummings on seat belt, safety patrol.  After attempting the stop, police say Fuentes continued for three blocks before pulling over.  It  was discovered Fuentes had a suspended license and further investigation led to the discovery of a .45 caliber Hi-Point semi-automatic handgun.  Also found was 4.4 grams of crystal meth, about and 27.5 grams of marijuana.  Fuentes was charged with resting law enforcement and possession of meth, marijuana and the handgun without a license.

-54-year-old Barry Danford of Washington was jailed for failure to appear on Saturday, the arrest made by Washington Police.

-Indiana State Police charged Theodore Robinson, 27, 24-year-old Christian Montano and 24-year-old Rigoberto Nunez-Roman all of Indianapolis with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia on Saturday.  All posted bond

-Judith Graber, 18, of Odon, was arrested by sheriff’s deputies Saturday for minor possession of alcohol and operating a vehicle while intoxicated. No bond was set.

-Odon Police arrested  James Forthoffer for obstruction of Justice and false informing in an investigation on Saturday. Bond was set at $2500.

  SUNDAY

-23-year-old Jacob Richards of Washington was jailed on Sunday for operating while intoxicated.

-Washington Police arrested 43-year-old Julot Joseph of Washington for operating while intoxicated refusal on Saturday.

-Jared Crews of Evansville, 29-years-old, was arrested on a failure to appear warrant Saturday by Washington Police.

  MONDAY

-A Loogootee was arrested Monday for possession of meth, resisting law enforcement, operating a vehicle while intoxicated refusal and driving while suspended with a prior.  40-year-old Abraham Wittmer was jailed without bond after being charged by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department.
