Indiana State Police have charged a man in Orange County with battery on a child under 14 and causing serious bodily injury.
Troopers began assisting CPS in an investigation centered on a five year old girl allegedly struck with a belt. It was learned that her stepfather, 22-year-old Devin Wilson of Hardinsburg, Indiana had not only allegedly struck the five year old but also his 19 month old stepdaughter with a belt leaving markings on her.
Wilson is facing two counts of battery on a child and was arrested on a warrant outside the Orange County Courthouse Wednesday without incident. Bond was set at $300,000.
