Arlene M. Harker, 83, of Washington, IN, went to her Heavenly Home while surrounded by family on May 12, 2017 while at Eastgate Manor.
She was born on September 12, 1933 to the late Elden and Hazel Evans in Winslow, IN. She graduated high school from Winslow in 1952. Arlene retired from Daviess County Hospital as a CNA after 35 years. She was a home care giver for many loving families. She loved to bowl, was a member of the Homemakers Club, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Arlene is survived by her children, Debbie Sidebottom (Dennis) and Denny Killion; grandchildren Tiffany Killion, Amberly Killion, Brad Killion, Gil Sidebottom, Valerie (Killion) Haynes, and Jordon “Zac” Sidebottom; 14 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by Harley Killion Jr. and Floyd Harker; sister Helena Cooper; and brother Frank Evans.
The service for Arlene will take place on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 2pm at Gill Funeral Home, 308 E. Walnut Street, Washington, IN 47501 with Pastor Adam Conder officiating.. Friends may call on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 from 5-8pm and on Wednesday prior to the service from 1-2pm. Interment will follow the service at Veale Creek Cemetery.
