Theft and possession arrests made Wednesday

 


 

 

-The Washington Police Department arrested two people from Evansville on theft charges yesterday.  31-year-old Jana R. Spurlock was being held on a $5000 and 36-year-old Michael S. Porter was being held on a $2000 bond.

– Two Washington residents are facing possession and dealing charges after a Wednesday investigation by Daviess County Deputies.  31-year-old Jeremy Butcher and 26-year-old Regina F. Knepp are both charged with possession and dealing marijuana and possession of meth and paraphernalia.  They are also charged with maintaining a common nuisance.  Bond was set at $25,000 each.

KNOX COUNTY

-Vincennes Police conducted a burglary investigation this week and at 11 last night made an arrest.  44-year-old Marvin J. Robinson was charged with felony burglary, and misdemeanor counts of criminal mischief and resisting law enforcement. The charge stems from an alleged break in at the Eagles Lodge in Vincennes this past Tuesday.

-At 1:40 yesterday afternoon Vincennes officers served an arrest warrant at 7th and College.  20-year-old Meghan Ann Taft was was wanted for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.  Upon her arrest she was allegedly found with drugs and is now also charged with possession of meth and marijuana. CSX Railroad officials assisted VPD in the arrest.
