Decker death is now a criminal investigation

 

 

 

 

 The death of 46 year-old John D. Lowe  of  Decker is now being considered a criminal investigation. Knox County Sheriff’s deputies are working with Knox County Prosecutor Dirk Carnahan on the continuing investigation.  The Sheriff’s Department has been interviewing prospective witnesses as the Indiana State Police Crime Scene Units and forensic experts have been working the scene.  Lowe was found dead in his home in Decker Wednesday morning.  An autopsy was conducted Wednesday but the findings and a cause of death have not been released.
