Man says he was robbed on I69…Bicknell police charge a man with alcohol and marijuana offenses…

 

 

 

DAVIESS COUNTY

–In Washington Police reports and in a post circulating social media…a man said he was robbed at gunpoint by a motorist apparently pretending to have vehicle trouble and stopped along I69 in Daviess County.   The victim said he was headed south and pulled over to help when the stranded motorist pulled a gun.  A wallet with $100 was taken and the suspect drove away in what was described as an older model red Chevy pick-up with rust on the right rear quarter panel.  The robber was said to be a white male, in his 40’s with long hair and a long beard.  He was wearing jeans, a white t-shirt and red flannel shirt.  The incident occurred about 11:20-am Monday.

-40-year-old Melissa D. Malone of Washington was picked up on a writ of attachment Monday. Bond was posted.

KNOX COUNTY

-Knox County arrest reports show that Bicknell Police arrested 41-year-old Charles Orman for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and possession of marijuana. He’s also charged with driving while suspended.  He was booked into the Knox County Jail at 4:35 this morning.

-Bicknell Police arrested 24-year-old Jacob Hill last night on a probation violation.  He was jailed at just before midnight last night.

-At 11:20 last night, Vincennes police conducted a traffic stop at Upper 11th and DeWolfe.  An occupant in the vehicle, 30-year-old Germain Roy Nicholson of Vincennes was found to be wanted on two Knox County warrants for Contempt.  He was also cited for improper registration display.

-Vincennes police went to 1616 LaPlante at 4:50 yesterday afternoon to investigate a report of a battery.  18-year-old William “Hank” Padgett was arrested for battery and disorderly conduct.

-32-year-old Travis Thacker of Vincennes was arrested at 3:30pm Monday for theft. The charge stems the alleged theft of gasoline from Fast Break on Executive Boulevard.

-At 2:30 Monday afternoon, 32-year-old Casey Madison was incarcerated in Knox County for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.  The arrest was made by the Knox County Sheriff’s Department.

-Knox County Deputies served several arrest warrants on Monday.  31-year-old Jacoby Wilson was wanted for failure to appear; 23-year-old Jerold Julian was wanted for contempt of court.  22-year-old Alicia Stephens and 25-year-old Ian Dunn were both picked up on parole violations.
