Anna L. Baker, 89, of Loogootee, Indiana passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Ketcham Memorial Center in Odon, Indiana.
She was born on February 10, 1928 in Pike County to William H. and Blanch (Groub) Gillie.
Ann married Leon Baker on March 25, 1946 and enjoyed 71 years together, they resided in Parkview Village Christian Care in Odon, Indiana.
She was a member of Loogootee Christian Church. Ann was a secretary and retired from Prairie Farms Dairy.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents William and Blanch Gillie, her siblings Armon, and Frances Gillie, and daughter Jeanne Baker.
She is survived by her husband Leon Baker, her son Van (Lynn) Baker of Loogootee, grandsons; Nathan (Maidie) Baker of Bradenton, FL, Todd (Blair) Baker of Loogootee, great- grandchildren; Jared Baker, Samantha Baker, Evan Meckley, Morgan Meckley of Bradenton, FL, and Burke Baker of Loogootee.
Visitation will be held Sunday, April 30, 2017 3:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m at Loogootee Christian Church. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Vincennes, Indiana.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Monday, May 1, 2017 at Loogootee Christian Church with Ed Frost officiating, with an hour of visitation from 9:00 am until time of service Memorial Contributions can be made to Loogootee Christian Church, envelopes will be provided.
