Mark “Jack” Graber, age 52, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at his home in Montgomery, Indiana surrounded by his loved ones.

 

 

 

He was born the oldest of 7 children, born in Washington, Indiana, on November 5, 1964 to Phillip and Geneva (Swartzentruber) Graber. Growing up he attended Pleasant View Christian School and was a lifelong member of Pleasant View Mennonite Church.
Mark was a devoted Christian man and demonstrated his love for God through his kindness and his love of helping others. He involved himself in the West End Chapel Kid’s Ministries, community fundraisers, Pleasant View Christian School, and was an active member in his church. Mark’s greatest joy was his life as a farmer, but his greatest love was for his family.
On July 27, 1985 he married his dear, “Ellie” Ellen Kay Graber. Mark spent his life proud to be her husband, as she was of him.
Mark is preceded in death by his father, Philip Graber and sister, Frances. He is survived by his wife, Ellen Graber, sons, Ashley (Julie), Bryant (Kristen), and Logan (Cassie). Grandchildren- Jayston, Kalen, Zavien, Layton, Hadlee and Hayden Graber. His mother, Geneva Graber. Sisters- Joanna (Jason) Knepp, Lisa (Nathan) Wittmer. Brothers- Paul (Gina) Graber, Calvin (Karen) Graber, Kevin (Melanie) Graber and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m Saturday April 22, 2017 at Pleasant View Mennonite Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held Thursday April 20, 2017 from 2:00 p.m to 4:00 p.m and 5:00 p.m to 8:00pm at Pleasant View Mennonite Church and Friday April 21, 2017 from 2:00 p.m to 4:00 p.m and 5:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m at Pleasant View Mennonite Church.
