An ATV crash in Pike County on Sunday resulted in significant injuries to an Evansville teen.

It happened at 5-pm on private property near River Road west of Petersburg.

Conservation officers report that 18-year-old Jacob Rice of Petersburg was operating an Arctic Cat ATV in circles and it rolled.  A passenger, 17-year-old Baylee Coffman of Evansville, was ejected.  She suffered injuries to her right arm. Rice was able to roll the vehicle back upright and drive the girl to a location accessible by an ambulance.  She was later flown by Life-Light to an Evansville Hospital.  Neither Rice of Coffman was wearing a helmet or seatbelt.
