Final mandatory safety meeting for the program is tomorrow…
Daviess County 4H is now offering a shooting sports program.
It’ll be for kids in grades 3 to 12 and involve the disciplines of shotgun, rifle and archery.
As always with firearms, safety comes first and those wanting to participate in the program will need to attend a safety meeting.
The 2nd and final safety meeting is tomorrow. Spokesman JR Crew says one parent or guardian is required to be there with the student
The safety meeting will be at the 4H building at East Side Park from 9 to 10:30. You’ll need to RSVP the Daviess County extension office 812-254-8668 to register. The cost is 20$ for the 4H program fee and another 30$ for shooting sports.
