The Vincennes Fire Department is asking for the public’s help in 3 separate fire investigations.

Fire Chief Sonny Pinkstaff says the fires occured on Monday of this week and all 3 were deliberately set.

The first was reported around 4:30 a.m. when city firefighters responded to a pick-up truck on fire at 206 Crestview Drive in Vincennes.

Two hours later, Vincennes Township firefighters were dispatched to a house fire at 2347 Navajo Drive which caused 30-thousand dollars in damage..

A second vehicle fire was phoned in by a neighbor near the apartments at Old 41 and Old Fort Knox Road.

Pinkstaff says they requested assistance from the State Fire Marshal’s office. He says investigators determined that all three of the fires had been intentionally set..

Pinkstaff says anyone with information about any of these fires is asked to call the Indiana Arson Hotline at 1-800-382-4628. Information can be provided anonymously and there is up to a 5-Thousand Dollar reward for information resulting in an arrest.
