Mary Catherine Miley Wilson, 85, of Washington, passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side at 5:37 p.m. Saturday.

 

 

 

 

 

 

She was born on Nov. 1, 1931, in Washington, to Walter C. and Frances (Disser) Dennis. She was a 1949 graduate of Washington Catholic High School and was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. She worked at Uniroyal for 17 years, at the Washington city utilities office for 6 years and at Arnold’s Red and White for 3 years before retiring. She is survived by her husband, Harold Wilson whom she married on Sept. 13, 1997; one son Gerald “Jerry” (Julia Marie) Miley of Montgomery; four stepchildren, Greg Wilson, Kevin Wilson, Diana Wilson and Patty Stouts all of California; three sisters, Clara Burris Jones; Barbara Taylor Linthcum and Anna (James) Crouch all of Indianapolis; two brothers, John L. Dennis of Austin, Texas, and Carl J. Dennis of Indianapolis; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her caregivers, Mary, Becky and Terri. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Miley on Dec. 18, 1992, whom she married on Sept. 29, 1951. She was also preceded in death by, one brother James Dennis, and two sisters, Agnes Louise Dennis and Jane Padgett. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church with Father Paul Ferguson as celebrant. Burial will follow in St John Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Ed Lee Mortuary. Memorial donations may be given to Helping Hearts Hospice P.O.
